We will never use your email address to send unsolicited promotional content from third parties without your explicit consent.
3. Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics — website traffic and behaviour analytics, anonymised, governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Email marketing provider — for delivering newsletters and the free template.
- WordPress & hosting provider — our CMS and server infrastructure may log technical data such as IP addresses for security purposes.
- Google AdSense (if applicable) — may display personalised or contextual ads.
- AI search assistance (optional, off by default) — if the site owner enables AI-assisted search, a natural-language search query you type may be sent to a third-party AI model provider (via OpenRouter) to help match you with the right calculator or guide. This is limited strictly to the search query itself, is never linked to your account, and is only active when explicitly turned on in the site’s settings.

We use SSL/HTTPS encryption sitewide, restrict access to subscriber data, and review our hosting environment regularly. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Accounts, Saved Calculations & Financial Goals
If you create a free InvestingLens account, we store your email address, a securely hashed password (via WordPress’s own password hashing — we never see or store your plain password), and a display name if you provide one.
If you choose to save a calculator result (for example, a Financial Health Score), the inputs and result you save are encrypted at rest and are visible only to you when logged in. We do not use this data to train any model, and we never send it to an AI provider.
If you set a financial goal (for example, a debt payoff target or savings target), the goal details and any progress amounts you enter are likewise encrypted at rest and visible only to you. Nothing about your goals is tracked automatically — there is no bank or account connection anywhere on this site, so progress only updates when you come back and enter it yourself.
You can delete any single saved calculation, or permanently delete your entire account and all saved data, at any time from the My Account page — no need to contact us. You can also request a full export or erasure of your account data by emailing mail@investinglens.com.
8. Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Unsubscribe — opt out of our newsletter any time via the link in any email

9. Children’s Privacy
Investing Lens is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. External Links
Our posts may link to RBI, SEBI, AMFI, banks, and other financial resources. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the privacy practices of third-party sites.
11. Applicable Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
